Country living? Huh? I’ve heard that a few times when people have talked about our subdivision. I’ve also heard things like…”I don’t want to live that far out of town.” I remember when living in the country meant driving several hours on dirt roads to the middle of nowhere! Where Chickens (and everything else) roamed free, and everyone piled their junk next to their barn!

American Country Estates is located less than 6 miles from I40, the Shawnee Mall, and the New Shawnee Marketplace. We are located on E1070 road, ½ mile west of Kickapoo Street. Our subdivision streets are paved, and we have concrete driveways. The only dirt road you will encounter is the half mile on County Road E1070, and we have a verbal commitment from the County to pave E1070. American Country Estates is less than 10 minutes from the main freeway, the area’s largest indoor mall, movie theater, and the new outdoor shopping center. We are in the North Rock Creek school district, and you can choose which high school you would like to attend.

It’s easy to imagine the charm of living in the country at American Country Estates. Our location is in the center of everything Shawnee has to offer, while still providing you with the intimacy and privacy of a country neighborhood. We have beautiful rolling hills, ¾ acre home sites, and a very quiet access road (E1070). It’s both beautiful and peaceful. We have recorded subdivision restrictions and protective covenants to keep it that way! As you sit on your covered front porch, you may forget you’re less than 10 minutes from shopping and the Interstate, 30 minutes to Tinker and Oklahoma City.
